The Encore GX is available in front-wheel and all-wheel drive both with three trim levels: Preferred, Select and Essence. Power is supplied by either a 137-hp 1.2-liter turbocharged engine or a 155-hp 1.3-liter turbocharged engine. The 1.3L is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Trim-dependent standard equipment includes: 18-inch aluminum wheels, LED daytime running lights, fog lights, passive entry/start, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control and Satellite radio. Every Encore stay connected with a Buick infotainment system, featuring an 8-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth streaming audio, 4G and Wi-Fi hotspot capability, three USB ports and smartphone integration. The top of the line Essence has it all including leather seats, Full LED headlamps and taillamps, heated leather wrapped steering wheel, air Ionizer, power mirrors with reverse tilt down, auto-dimming rearview mirror, memory system for 2 drivers includes exterior mirrors and garage door transmitter.
